Part of Holmisdale House , one of the most famous Victorian mansions on Skye, the Toy Museum was destroyed in a fire on the 13th of May 2002. Finally finished in September 2003, 16 long months after the fire and 30 weeks of rebuilding the Toy Museum has risen from the ashes and is open once again to welcome visitors from across the world.

Set in three acres with a waterfall and large garden. The owners, Terry & Paddy Wilding, are makers of CROKINOLE, the famous Canadian board game (see our web-site for details). You'll find us in the tranquil, rural area of Skye just 7 miles from Dunvegan and on the Glendale Visitor Route in the heart of MacLeodcountry , with views of MacLeods Tables and the Outer Hebrides.

Close to shops , attractions and world famous restaurants in the original Glendale township, The Toy Museum & Holmisdale House are an ideal destination for your unforgettable holiday experience that is Skye.
