This delightful old coaching inn and the equally charming steading conversion in the grounds stand on a hillside overlooking Uig Bay and Loch Snizort.

The hotel is pleasantly furnished with comfortable lounges and a sun-lounge overlooking the bay. Coal and wood fires give a warm welcome.

All bedrooms have private facilities and are equipped with television and tea & coffee making facilities.

Sobhraig House, the converted steading stands just above the hotel in the grounds. There are six bedrooms furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The view is particularly attractiveand many returning guests request to stay here.

The hotel has a full licence and is open for morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea.

Uig, as well as being a charming village in its own right, is the ferry port for the Western Isles. Boats leave regularly for Tarbert on the Isle of Harris and Lochmaddy on North Uist. The hotel makes an ideal overnight stop if you are travelling on the ferries.

Uig is also an excellent base for a holiday on Skye, with many of the island's major attractions in easy reach.
