| Amanda Perrin Sep 4 2007 | I`m looking for any relations of George Thomson - born 1914 somewhere on the Isle of Skye. Don`t know his Mother`s name, but his father`s name was Robert Thomson, also George had a sister by the name of Christina, it is not known if she ever married or had children but she apparently moved to Edinburgh and died there of Pneumonia when she was approx. 33 yrs of age. George was a qualified Chef and at some point worked at the famous `Tilley`s Cafe` on Blackett Street in Newcastle Upon Tyne sometime in the c.1930`s before he was called up to work as a Chef on a naval ship during WW11. I know that he returned to live in Newcastle Upon Tyne after the war ended, but it is not known if he stayed there, or moved back to the Isle of Skye permanently. If there are any relatives, friends or anyone who knows of George or his family, or if they know if he is still alive or has died, please contact me by email ....
