| Barribee Nov 4 2005 | I was on my way to the isle of skye on my motorbike on Sunday 2nd of October, when through my own fault, (I was looking over my right shoulder,watching the streams tumbling down the hillside on the opposite side of the road, about 3 miles north of Tyndrum.) When I left the road on the left at 60 MPH, hurtling towards the only piece of stone wall for miles, When ptovidence stepped in in the shape of a Scottish ditch, full of Water and disguised with grass, bracken etc,. Milliseconds before I hit the wall I dropped into the ditch, which guided my bike and me to a rapid but very wet stop, keeping us off the wall. How lucky can you get??. I had planned to stay in Fort William that night and to continue to the isle on Monday Morning. I booked in to the Bank Street Hostel for the night. When the receptionist noticed that I was limping, and I told her about my accident, she pointed out the Belford hospital across the way and suggested I went there to get checked out.
