Kinloch Area
'Head of Loch na Dal'
KINLOCH (Gaelic: Loch head)
Formerly a lodge of the MacDonald estate, Kinloch sits overlooking the head of Loch na Dal. A woodland of native oak runs from north to south through here and then turns and heads north-east along the coast. There are good footpaths here. One leads to Leitifura, an abandoned village once home to the MacInnes family, another path follows the coast and woodland heading north-east and ends at Kylerhea.
