ELISHADER (Norse: Cave or shieling)
The high cliff rock formation near here is known as Kilt Rock. It is formed of layers of different coloured rock combined with multiple vertical fissures which form pillars and 'pleats' in the surface of the cliff. A very popular and, for the time being, free tourist attraction.
