GLAME (Gaelic: Stream noise)
Just proud of the skyline to the south-east of Glame is the long extinct cinder cone of an ancient volcano. Dun Caan, as it is known, stands 443 meters high and, with its distinctive shape, is easily visible from many points on Skye and the mainland.
